SEND Vision Statement
At St Teresa's, we promise that through our values of love, faith and service to others, will provide an excellent education so that our children with SEND become the people that God meant them to be, enjoying “life in all its fullness”. John 10:10
We offer a broad, balanced and ambitious curriculum for all children, that is carefully sequenced and ensures that learning is accessible and enjoyable and that pupils become confident, independent and happy learners. Our holistic approach supports the academic, behavioural, emotional and social development of every child, enabling them to 'be the very best they can be as a child of God'.
Pupil - Home - School triangulation ensures pupil and parent voice are valued and acted upon. This essential collaboration aids planning, supporting, monitoring, goal-setting and review processes within school and we work closely with external agencies and professionals who provide specialist advice and support to staff, pupils and families.

SEN Updates
What is the SEND Local Offer? Local authorities, schools and other services will set out a local offer of all services available to support children who are disabled or who have Special Educational Needs and their families. The local offer will enable families to understand what services they can access and what support they can expect from a range of local agencies, including from the local authority, health services, schools, leisure services and the voluntary sector. The offer will include provision from birth to 25, across education, health and social care. What will it do?
